Live Home 3D

Live Home 3D is a home design application that caters to both homeowners planning renovations and professional designers seeking to visualize their ideas. This software is available for free on iOS and Windows platforms, with in-app purchases, and offers a free trial for Mac users.

The software provides a range of tools for detailed creation and visualization of 2D floor plans and 3D rendering. Users can draw complete rooms using the Room tool, and employ Arc and Straight Wall tools for wall construction. Furniture can be represented via an ‘Auto outline’ vector-based 2D feature. The software also offers real-time measurements for walls, ceilings, and floors in the 2D Plan view.

The real-time 3D environment allows users to adjust lighting, move objects, apply materials, and more. All changes made in either 3D or 2D are rendered in 3D in real time. Users can also walk through their 3D interior design. The software offers over 1,500 furniture objects and more than 2,100 materials. Users can import models from SketchUp 3D Warehouse, and apply any image as a custom material. The software also supports the import of objects in SketchUp, COLLADA, KMZ, FBX or 3DS formats by simple drag and drop.

For exterior design, Live Home 3D offers 12 customizable roof templates and 16 customizable dormers. Users can add custom segments for further roof customization. The final design can be shared on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Vimeo or YouTube. Users can also export 3D views to JPEG, TIFF, PNG, and BMP, share 360° Panorama JPEG images to Facebook, render a realistic video walkthrough, and create Stereo 3D, 360° and even Stereo 3D 360° Videos. The entire project can be exported to COLLADA, SketchUp, VRML Version 2.0 or X3D format.
